Dr. McDaniel, I just recently took my 3 month old dog to the vet to get his second shots. Up until then he was fine. Every since getting the shot he has had diarrhea. Can you tell me what to do to make him more normal? He still eats plays, etc. The only thing is that his stool is very soft.

I have a four month Pomeranian who we got when she was 10 weeks old. The breeder took her to her vet for her 1st shots the day we got her. I have the paper work showing she had DHIPP series shots. We had a puppy pack done at 13 weeks, 5 in 1 with parvo, Bordetella, roundworm de-worm and heartworm preventative. We took her back for another puppy pack at 16 weeks plus a rabies shot. Is this all of the shots she'll need until next year? I can't seem to get a straight answer on this and just want to make sure Sophie is protected.

My six-month-old mixed breed puppy was vaccinated for rabies and also had an injection for tapeworm two weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed a one-inch, firm, but moveable lump near the injection site that had not been there before. It moves freely under the skin and does not seem to bother him. I have read recently about some vaccines causing fibrosarcomas in cats, but dogs were not mentioned. I am very concerned and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
