Mourning

RESULTS 1-3 OF 3

I recently lost my black labrador retriever to a stroke. Now my yellow labrador is mourning her loss. They were very close. My yellow lab (copper) refuses to eat, he is vomiting and has lost a lot of weight. I have taken him to the vet twice. They did blood work (checking organ function), fecal, urine, and xrays. All the test came back good. He is just sad. I asked about depression medications for dogs and I was told that there was nothing. I find that hard to accept. Please help with any information or advice. I will do anything to make him happy. I am going today to get more iv fluids and try force feeding.

Our Mastiffs best friend our Rottweiler just died from cancer and we are concerned she could be depressed, what are the symtoms? They were never separated in seven years.

I recently lost my 13 yr old Labrador retriever and my 11 yr old Labrador seems depressed. Is this normal? What can I do to help her out? She seems so lost on car rides and walks. She lays in the back room by herself. There is a 2 yr old beagle here to keep her company and I am home all day but it does not seem to help. Thank you
