My golden lab is almost 8 months old. I was wondering when I should switch her from puppy food to adult food? I heard 6-8 months but I want to be sure.

We have a 10 week old German Shepherd that we have been feeding Purina One Large Breed Puppy food to since we got her 2 1/2 weeks ago. We are give her about 1/2 Cup of food twice a day, but she seems to be hungry for more. Should we increase the amount?
